Urgent Notice and Warning to Facebook Users
Sat Aug 28, 2010
Yes it was automatically checked and enabled for me but like I said the feature, enabled or not, will lie dormant until you actively choose to post your location. Simply having the feature enabled does not constantly update your current location while you're logged in as your post implies.

That's all just a little too complicated for the average profile user.
Why do you think so many people believe Obama is a Muslim?
Mon Aug 30, 2010

Urgent Notice and Warning to Facebook Users
Sat Aug 28, 2010
Your location is only shown if you CHOOSE to check in at your location. It is not constantly being reported while you're logged in. The feature behaves much like FourSquare, or Brightkite, you choose to share your location by actively telling the application where you are.

Apple: iTunes Users Should Wait on Vista
Fri Feb 2, 2007
Ok... so the Vista activation server was cracked just 6 or 7 days after having gone live.... heck it's only the newest operating system soon to be sold on millions of machines.... what's the problem M$ not good enough to write a secure operating system?
Apple, Cisco, Ready for an IPhone Truce?
Wed Jan 31, 2007
I did a little digging a while back after this lawsuit started and found the trademark registration on cisco's iPhone which like Cook says, is tenuous at best. Nowhere in the TM registration does it cover the ability to e-mail, sms, or any of the pda functions covered by apple's iPhone.
